💼 About This Role

You'll lead platform engineering and SRE for a global payments company, owning the internal developer platform, production reliability, and AI-assisted engineering. You'll drive adoption across hundreds of engineers, measuring success with DORA metrics and AI-era additions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the internal developer platform with golden paths and self-service tooling
• Drive SRE and production excellence including observability and incident management
• Lead AI-assisted engineering integration and governance across developer workflows
• Champion adoption of platform standards and measure paved-road usage

📋 Requirements

• Led platform engineering or SRE for hundreds of engineers in high-stakes environments
• Hands-on with modern AI-assisted development tooling like GitHub Copilot or Cursor
• Deep understanding of DORA metrics and their limits in AI-assisted development
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

• Experience with in-house AI coding platform including prompt engineering and agentic patterns
• Track record of reducing change failure rate while increasing deployment frequency
• Background in regulated financial services with production payment systems
