Description

You will support the Nuclear Material Control Accountability program by performing statistical calculations, tracking measurement data, and helping ensure compliance with NRC regulations. You'll work with engineers to design reporting tools and assist in audits and physical inventories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, or related field
  • Proficiency in advanced math fundamentals (algebra, probability, descriptive statistics)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Perform statistical calculations for inventory checks and material balances
  • Track and verify measurement data (weights, volumes, assay results)
  • Calculate averages, error margins, and uncertainty estimates
  • Design and check forms, spreadsheets, and databases for MC&A reporting
  • Support periodic physical inventories and reconcile records with actual counts
