💼 About This Role

You'll lead AR training software development for a cutting-edge defense tech startup. Your work will integrate synthetic reality systems with live aircraft to deliver high-impact military training. You'll split time between hands-on C++ development and managing a team of engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers on AR/VR training systems
• Design and optimize high-performance C++ applications for embedded SoC platforms
• Develop core features for synthetic reality rendering systems and simulation frameworks
• Integrate safety-critical GUI for cockpit and mission display systems

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional C++ development
• 2+ years in a software engineering management or technical leadership role
• Experience with real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Integrity, DeOS)
• Proficiency in C and C++ in embedded environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with DO-178C safety-critical software development
• Familiarity with ARINC 661 Cockpit Display System standard
• Experience with embedded graphics frameworks (OpenGL, Vulkan)
