💼 About This Role

You'll own GL close execution including reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analysis for Deepgram's finance team. Your work ensures the books are audit-ready as the company scales toward IPO. You'll use AI tools daily to streamline close work and improve processes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare account reconciliations across cash, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany, and AP.
• Post recurring and accrual journal entries with appropriate support.
• Partner with offshore AP team on daily AP tasks and escalations.
• Support external audit PBC requests and flux analysis.
• Use AI tools for reconciliation matching, anomaly detection, and JE drafting.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on close cycle.
• Active CPA preferred; Big 4 foundation a plus.
• Solid US GAAP fluency at operational level.
• Demonstrated AI-native working style using LLMs daily for accounting work.

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience supporting a first external audit.
• SaaS or AI startup accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite, Rillet, FloQast, or similar tools.
