Requirements

• Significant programming experience in C; Python and Bash scripting highly regarded
• Solid background with git
• Knowledge of the Linux kernel and kernel subsystems
• Experience with kernel patching and debugging
• Knowledge of Linux kernel upstream processes and release cycle

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a globally distributed team and external silicon/hardware vendors
• Diagnose and resolve kernel issues reported by QA, customers, and community
• Enable new Linux kernel features as requested by customers
• Submit, review, and apply kernel patches with internal and external maintainers
• Enable next-generation PC platforms on Ubuntu
