💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Sensor Health team ensuring autonomous vehicle sensors are reliable and calibrated. Your impact involves building an ML-driven validation stack that detects anomalies and maintains data quality. You'll work across Perception, System Engineering, and Alphabet teams to deploy cutting-edge solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and build an ML engineering team for sensor anomaly detection and calibration
• Build a data flywheel to auto-generate training data for rare sensor degradation events
• Own the entire sensor validation stack end-to-end
• Drive collaborations between perception, system engineering, evaluation, and Alphabet teams

📋 Requirements

• MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Math, Physics or equivalent experience
• 6+ years in designing, training, and deploying ML-driven real-time robotics systems
• 4+ years leading technical teams and setting technical direction
• 2+ years of people management experience

✨ Nice to Have

• PhD in a related technical field
• Experience with LiDAR, radar, or camera sensor modalities
• Familiarity with early fusion multi-modal sensor models
