Description

You will lead the global IBM alliance team at Canonical, building and executing strategy to expand the partnership, drive revenue growth, and manage a team of business development managers. This is a remote role based in the Americas, involving international travel and close collaboration with senior executives at IBM and Canonical to align on joint business objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Alliance Manager/Director
• Solid experience in Linux, virtualization, containers, and cloud technologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build executive relationships
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset focused on revenue growth
• Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on mentality with passion for open source

Responsibilities

• Build and own global alliance strategy and development
• Expand strategic relationships and enable IBM teams on the partnership
• Grow business motions with IBM across sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with
• Manage, develop, and grow a team of experienced business development managers
• Align and support internal Canonical field teams to identify and transact opportunities
