Description
You will perform as Pax the Panda at Washington Mystics games and community events, engaging with fans through skits, dances, stunts, and improvisation while upholding the character's spirit and representing the organization.
Requirements
- Ability to work all Washington Mystics games
- Ability to perform in a mascot suit with limited visibility
- Ability to thrive in a team dynamic and communicate effectively
- Ability to lift over 30+ pounds
- Commitment for the entire 2026 basketball season and up to 2027 audition date
Responsibilities
- Perform as Pax the Mascot at Mystics home games, select community and Mystics events
- Uphold the standards of Pax in all situations including on-court skits/dances/stunts, pre-taped videos, in-stands interaction and improvisation
- Run and maneuver around the arena to engage with fans
- Serve as an ambassador of the Washington Mystics organization, conducting yourself in a manner that upholds the character, tradition, integrity, and values
- Maintain the secrecy of the Pax character to ensure the 'Spirit of the character'
