Description

You will lead a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori environment, observing each child to support their development, preparing a beautiful and orderly classroom, and providing individualized lessons to foster independence, language, and confidence.

Requirements

Interest in pursuing Montessori certification or previously earned Montessori diploma
Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group care or early learning setting
Alignment with child-led educational approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar)
Required ECE or Child Development credits
Bachelor's degree in any field

Responsibilities

Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development
Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters focus and independence
Encourage toddlers to do tasks themselves and provide practical life lessons
Build trusting relationships with children and families
Lead classroom routines and collaborate with team members
