You'll drive system performance, scalability, and reliability improvements. This role offers the chance to mentor engineers and influence technical direction across multiple squads.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design for major backend systems focusing on performance and scalability
• Collaborate with teams on cross-cutting concerns like shared libraries and tech debt
• Tackle production issues, security vulnerabilities, and architectural decisions
• Provide technical mentorship to engineers across levels

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience
• Deep expertise in distributed systems design
• Strong hands-on experience with Python or Ruby
• Proficiency with AWS cloud platform

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with SingleStore
• Knowledge of email deliverability systems (e.g., SMTP)
• Experience with platform architecture at scale
