Description

As a diamond turning machinist at SpaceX, you will manufacture sub-micron tolerance parts for the Starlink program using world-class equipment. You'll work with a team to produce components that other companies cannot, pushing the boundaries of machining.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 6+ months CNC machine operation experience
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts and overtime
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and maintain safe work environment
• Maximize machine uptime by identifying and reporting issues
• Use metrology tools like CMMs, optical microscopes, and Zygo interferometers
• Change tools and tooling per defined processes
• Perform data entry and work tracking
