Description

As a Wind Technician, you'll perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance on wind turbines to ensure safe and efficient operation. You'll document work, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with the site team to maintain turbine performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (must obtain within 6 months)
• Able to climb towers unassisted up to 300 feet
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance on wind turbines
• Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent using computer-based service reporting
• Troubleshoot and repair SCADA communication systems
• Operate and maintain a service vehicle
• Work a flexible on-call schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
