💼 About This Role

You'll own the technical direction of cloud systems for Life360's connected hardware. You'll architect scalable, secure infrastructure serving tens of millions of families. This role is a systems-level leadership position in an AI-native engineering environment where you'll define agent-driven workflows and influence firmware, mobile, and platform teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own technical architecture and long-term roadmap for Devices Cloud systems
• Define and drive system-level technical direction across multiple teams
• Lead AI-native engineering practices and architect agentic workflows
• Partner with firmware, mobile, product, and platform teams on APIs and integration standards

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years designing large-scale backend or cloud infrastructure systems
• Track record setting technical direction across teams and aligning with business goals
• Deep expertise with AWS cloud-native infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Strong experience with agentic AI workflows and multi-agent systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in IoT, telematics, or hardware-adjacent domains
• Experience mentoring Staff and Senior engineers
• Experience leading incident response and post-mortems
