💼 About This Role

You'll lead GoDaddy's global employment legal function, reporting to the VP, Deputy General Counsel. You'll shape workforce strategy across the U.S. and international markets while directly handling high-impact matters. This role blends executive-level influence with hands-on legal work in a dynamic tech environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead global workforce legal issues in employee relations and labor matters
• Build, develop, and inspire a distributed team of employment attorneys
• Advise C-suite on workforce strategy, risk, and compliance
• Handle complex matters including executive issues, investigations, and reorganizations

📋 Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one state
• 15+ years of employment law experience with significant in-house global experience
• Deep expertise in U.S. and international employment law including EMEA/APAC
• Proven leadership advising C-suite executives and building teams

• Experience in technology, marketplace, or platform-based companies
• Familiarity with works councils (Germany experience preferred)
• Experience using technology and AI tools to improve legal service delivery
