Description

You will develop GNC algorithms and flight software for Starshield payloads, optimize performance through modeling and simulation, and support on-orbit operations. This role involves building software tools, conducting analyses, and balancing competing requirements to advance national security space capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or related engineering discipline
• Software development experience in C++ or Python
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one
• Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable GNC algorithms and flight software using C++ or Python
• Conduct analyses and write GNC software balancing competing requirements
• Build software tools and scenarios to analyze system performance
• Write technical documentation of programs and algorithms
• Support on-call operations rotation for continuous peak performance
