Description

You will lead health, safety, and environmental efforts across multiple construction project sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and integrating HSE practices into all phases of work. This role involves developing training plans, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and advising project teams to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Occupational Health Safety with 5+ years related HSE experience, or 10 years of construction HSE experience with 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA USACE regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology used in environmental and safety inspections.
  • Competent Person in Fall Protection (24 hour) certification; CHST or similar HSE certification.

Responsibilities

  • Inform project teams of HSE requirements and verify incorporation into processes by subcontractors, engineering, and construction personnel.
  • Develop and provide guidance using the HSE Management System Program in accordance with policies, client requirements, and regulations.
  • Participate in meetings with customers, project teams, and contractors to advise on mitigation plans, training, and technical reports.
  • Conduct accident investigations, document contributing factors, identify corrective actions, and report results.
  • Perform environmental compliance inspections and monitor compliance with environmental requirements, permits, and management plans.
