You'll build and lead the privacy governance framework at Anthropic, a frontier AI lab. You'll set the strategy for policies, controls, and accountability artifacts that scale with our mission. This is a foundational role with direct board-level visibility and cross-functional impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set strategy and roadmap for privacy governance framework
• Own privacy documentation lifecycle: DPIAs, ROPAs, TIAs
• Establish governance forums for privacy-significant decisions
• Oversee privacy controls testing and reporting to leadership

📋 Requirements

• Deep working knowledge of GDPR and CCPA/CPRA
• Track record building privacy governance programs end-to-end
• Strong written communication for policies and board reporting
• Privacy certification (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM) or equivalent

✨ Nice to Have

• Senior privacy governance leadership at a tech company with multiple regimes
• Direct experience engaging privacy regulators (e.g., EU DPA)
• Familiarity with AI-specific privacy considerations
