Description

You will accession and manage biological samples throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate chain of custody and compliance with clinical laboratory regulations. This role involves working independently in a fast-paced lab environment to support the company's mission of transforming disease diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing CLIA high complexity testing or working with clinical samples in a regulated laboratory
• High School Diploma/Associate degree

Responsibilities

• Receive and accession samples into the Laboratory Information System
• Identify problem samples and escalate as needed
• Enter, upload, and ensure accuracy of sample information across multiple systems
• Maintain chain of custody records for every sample transaction
• Ensure appropriate storage and transfer of samples throughout their lifecycle
• Perform sample disposition management (disposal, return)
• Perform check-in and check-out of biological samples
• Perform sample transfers at appropriate temperature to departments
• Work independently with strong understanding of processes and time management
• Follow document processes, safety protocols, and laboratory regulations (GCLP, CAP, CLIA)
