💼 About This Role

You'll join Supabase's PostgreSQL team to own deployment stability and bridge product and infrastructure teams. You'll improve the reliability of deployments and upgrades by packaging software into our supabase/postgres repo using Nix and managing PostgreSQL lifecycles. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remote with a globally distributed team building developer tools.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Package software into supabase/postgres repo using Nix with flakes.
• Manage PostgreSQL major, minor, and extension upgrades.
• Expand platform release systems for developer self-service.
• Optimize CI/CD with GitHub Actions and testing approaches.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years experience with PostgreSQL and its ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Nix package management system (including flakes).
• Experience with Docker and AWS.
• Experience building for Linux and Darwin/macOS aarch64 targets.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Ansible, Packer, QEMU/KVM, or Kubernetes.
• Polyglot development skills in C/C++, Go, JavaScript, or Rust.
• Experience in async or globally distributed teams.
