Description

You will design, develop, and enhance user-facing features across the Robinhood app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, while improving performance and mentoring peers to shape the future of our mobile platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience developing Android applications
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, strong grasp of Android SDK and MVVM patterns
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room
• Strong collaboration and product-focused mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs
• Lead full lifecycle of product features from ideation to release
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful solutions
• Champion engineering best practices for code quality and scalability
• Mentor junior developers and elevate team standards
