Description

As a Senior Applied AI Engineer at Celonis, you'll work with strategic public sector clients to build AI solutions on our Process Intelligence platform. You'll prototype, demonstrate value, and ensure successful implementation to drive operational improvements in government agencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years leading technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements in Public Sector (State Local Government).
• Deep understanding of state/local government business processes (Health Human Services, Procurement, Finance, etc.).
• Ability to translate policy/agency needs into specific AI use cases.

Responsibilities

• AI Discovery Solutioning: Understand public sector AI strategies and translate agency requirements into innovative solutions.
• Pre- and Post-Sales Execution: Lead technical discovery and demonstrations during government sales cycles and guide post-sale implementation.
• Hackathons Prototyping: Rapidly build creative prototypes using AI technologies in agency hackathons.
• Agentic Process Transformation: Support government customers in deploying autonomous AI agents using the Celonis platform.
• Proof Projects: End-to-end execution of Proof-of-Value projects including LLM/agent systems with RAG and security compliance.
