Description

As a Senior Web Platform Engineer at SoFi, you will drive the design and development of platform-level tools, libraries, and frontend patterns to scale our web ecosystem. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic vision and adopt AI-first technologies to accelerate the platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years of deep frontend engineering experience with scalable platforms
• Proven experience building reusable SDKs, UI libraries, and platform APIs
• Expertise in React and modern frontend frameworks and build tooling
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, web performance optimization, and accessibility
• Excellent cross-functional communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable frontend platform tools, SDKs, and shared libraries
• Maintain systems for CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines
• Define standards for performance, accessibility, and design system adoption
• Drive adoption of core platform capabilities across teams
• Mentor engineers and champion engineering excellence
