💼 About This Role

You'll lead and support a team of engineers and product managers delivering high-quality, scalable software for NerdWallet's advisory and marketplace systems. You'll drive the product roadmap, foster strong engineering practices, and balance near-term delivery with long-term maintainability and compliance. This role reports to the Senior Director and offers the opportunity to shape the evolution of platforms that power financial advisory experiences.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a product and engineering team for Advisory systems.
• Partner with Product Managers to plan, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap.
• Drive consistent execution of software development best practices.
• Balance platform evolution with stability for high-traffic mission-critical systems.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience as a people manager of an engineering team
• Proven experience delivering production software in a complex, fast-paced environment
• Proficient in NextJS, AWS, and TypeScript
