You will lead the direct material procurement team for Rocket Lab's headquarters, focusing on raw materials like aluminum, composites, and 3D printed materials. Your work will directly support the production of rockets and satellites for critical space missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field
• 10+ years of purchasing experience
• Management experience in fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to source and contract with suppliers
• Ability to travel domestically

Responsibilities

• Manage a procurement team focused on raw material commodity
• Develop global commodity strategy for cost, quality, and delivery
• Negotiate pricing and create bottom-up cost models
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Ensure ERP procurement data accuracy
