💼 About This Role

You'll partner with sales to drive technical pre-sales efforts for Upbound's Intelligent Control Plane platform, helping enterprise customers adopt Crossplane and Kubernetes. You'll build trusted relationships, deliver demos, and guide customers from discovery to deployment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with Account Executives on technical discussions throughout the buying lifecycle.
• Create and deliver high-fidelity presentations, demos, and sample solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to design and implement Crossplane and Upbound Cloud architectures.
• Collect detailed customer requirements for product and engineering estimation.

📋 Requirements

• Pre-sales or consulting experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience designing and deploying Kubernetes to production.
• Deep understanding of multiple major cloud providers and their services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps.

✨ Nice to Have

• Active involvement in the upstream Kubernetes community.
• History of speaking at conferences or contributing to open source.
• Experience in a startup or distributed/remote team.
