Description

You will lead the 0-to-1 buildout of a new payments division at Roblox, transitioning the company from standard payment processing to a strategic orchestration model. This role involves negotiating with global payment processors, developing routing strategies to save hundreds of millions in transaction fees, and transforming creator payouts into a global financial platform.

Requirements

• Experience in payment partnerships at a senior leadership level
• Track record of leading high-stakes negotiations with major payment processors
• Ability to translate commercial opportunities into technical requirements
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Expertise in global regulatory compliance (KYB/KYC/AML)

Responsibilities

• Lead RFP and contract negotiations with global payment processors and financial institutions
• Develop multi-partner orchestration strategy to optimize routing based on cost and conversion
• Drive strategy to modernize creator payout infrastructure into an end-to-end financial platform
• Lead cross-functional deal teams across Legal, Finance, Privacy, and Engineering
• Expand into emerging markets by addressing FX volatility and local payment methods
