Description

You'll build core backend systems for a multi-cloud SaaS platform, enabling global enterprises to deploy and manage Aerospike's real-time database at scale. You'll work on distributed, multi-tenant services and contribute to the next generation of our cloud platform.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Solid foundation in computer science and algorithms
• Experience with distributed, multi-tenant, auto-scalable backend services
• Proficiency in one statically typed language (Go, Kotlin, Java, Scala)
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Google, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

• Communicate progress on long-term technology roadmap with stakeholders
• Write quality code, tests, and prototypes
• Profile and analyze bottlenecks, optimize backend services for performance and scalability
• Develop automated unit and integration tests
• Participate in on-call rotation as technical expert for customer issues
