💼 About This Role

You'll shape ElevenLabs' global privacy program as we expand internationally, advising on AI governance and data protection across our audio and AI platforms. You'll enable innovation by translating complex privacy regulations into practical guidance for product and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI laws. This role offers the chance to define privacy strategy at a high-growth AI leader.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise on global privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Draft and negotiate data protection terms in commercial agreements
• Partner with Product teams to implement privacy-by-design

📋 Requirements

• 6-12 years of legal experience focusing on privacy compliance
• JD with active bar membership (NY preferred) or UK/EU qualification
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and cross-border data transfers
• Experience advising AI, technology, or SaaS companies on privacy

• Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 frameworks
• Familiarity with biometric data and voice technology regulations
