💼 About This Role

You'll manage safe production of a work area at an Elk Valley coal mine, directing crew activities and following the daily mine plan. You'll coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve operating targets efficiently. This role offers a compressed work week with alternating Fridays off in the breathtaking Elk Valley.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
• Measure crew performance and strengthen accountability through coaching
• Provide mentorship to supervisors and coordinate mining activities
• Look for innovative ways to minimize cost and maximize production

📋 Requirements

• Ten years of mining experience
• Five years of supervisory experience
• Digital literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and fleet dispatch systems
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with autonomous haulage systems, specifically Komatsu Frontrunner
• Exposure to Front Runner or Dispatch systems
• Strong interest in continuous improvement
