Description

You will own the lifecycle of document templates, translating insurance product requirements into schema-driven templates, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and underwriters to ensure accuracy and compliance. You'll debug and optimize templates, triage incidents, and contribute to tooling improvements while having a growth pathway toward software engineering or project management.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in data/logic/layout systems
• Experience in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript)
• Comfort with HTML and templating technologies (e.g., Jinja)
• Familiarity with structured data formats like JSON
• Ability to manage multiple requests and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of document templates across all insurance lines
• Translate insurance product requirements into schema-driven reusable templates
• Develop, debug, and optimize document templates; diagnose data-mapping, layout, or logic bugs
• Write and execute test plans to maintain document quality and prevent regressions
• Triage, prioritize, and resolve document-related requests using Jira
