Description

In this role, you will provide acute and time-sensitive care to patients of all ages in a primary care setting, working flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You'll handle a broad range of concerns from minor illnesses to injuries, while collaborating with a dedicated team to transform healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 of the last 5 years in outpatient primary or urgent care seeing all ages, or recent residency completion
• At least 1 year experience caring for pediatric patients including newborns
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
• Ability to work at least 3 major holidays per year and two full weekends per month
• State licensing in California by start date

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care and same-day/next-day access for time-sensitive needs
• Address a broad range of concerns including chest pain, abdominal pain, UTIs, laceration repair, and acute mental health triage
• Stay current on evidence-based urgent care practices and manage common primary care issues
• Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters and procedures
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
