Description

You will lead site development projects from concept through final design and construction support, managing project teams and budgets while working on municipal and land development projects. This hybrid role is based in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of diverse and progressive civil design experience
• Licensed PE in the state of PA or planning to obtain licensure in the near future
• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience working with public agencies, private clients and/or municipalities
• Progressive experience with developing plans, specifications, and submissions per industry standards and requirements
• Excellent communication and client relation skills
• Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
• Advanced proficiency in CADD and ability to ensure compliance with project CADD standards
• Ability to work independently and produce task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner

Responsibilities

• Lead site development projects from concept through final design and construction support
• Develop and execute project schedules and work plans
• Manage project teams with accountability for budget and schedule
• Mentor and support junior staff in technical and professional development
• Contribute to Division strategic growth initiatives and collaborate on regional growth strategy
• Interact with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders, including Municipal and County government and permitting agencies
• Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events
• Identify new business opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits
