Description

You will lead an applied research team at Miro, working at the intersection of Vision, Language, and Graph Theory to build the brain behind the "Intelligent Canvas." You'll define the research roadmap, pioneer work on unique spatial and multimodal datasets, and drive rapid translation of research into product features that delight users.

Requirements

• 2+ years managing high-performing Applied Science or ML Engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of Transformers, Diffusion models, and GNNs.
• Product-first mindset prioritizing user value and latency constraints.
• Ability to communicate strategic vision to executives.
• PhD + 2 years management, or Master's + 5 years ML industry experience including 2 years management.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class applied research team, hiring and mentoring researchers.
• Define the research roadmap for the Intelligent Canvas, modeling complex user behaviors.
• Pioneer research on spatial, multimodal, and graph-based collaboration datasets.
• Drive research-to-product velocity by testing and fine-tuning foundation models.
• Cultivate scientific rigor and partner with Engineering and Product Leadership.
