💼 About This Role

You'll design and build release and over-the-air (OTA) update infrastructure for Nuro's fleet of autonomous robots, enabling reliable software deployments at scale. Your work directly impacts safety and uptime of self-driving vehicles. This role offers the chance to solve mission-critical distributed systems challenges in a fast-growing AV company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve release and OTA update software.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across teams.
• Track and improve release system performance via KPIs and optimizations.
• Develop test and validation programs for system robustness.
• Participate in on-call rotation during business hours.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years industrial experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ or Go.
• Professional experience in Unix/Linux environments and Bash scripting.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or related field.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with GCP.
• Prior experience with OTA updates and execution frameworks like Temporal.
• Python programming experience.
