💼 About This Role

You'll build and own critical financial data pipelines and models at Instacart, enabling accurate and timely reporting. You'll shape the finance data strategy and architect scalable data solutions for a high-impact, visible role. This is an early-stage team where you'll drive initiatives from design to execution.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build scalable data pipelines for finance and accounting teams.
• Design and maintain data models for financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on data requirements.
• Mentor team members and champion engineering excellence.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in Data/Software Engineering with financial data pipelines.
• Expert in SQL and dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Strong knowledge of cloud warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery.
• Experience with data immutability, auditability, and slowly changing dimensions.

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Experience with SOX controlled data systems.
