Description
You will lead a team of power electronics engineers to design and develop next-generation high-power EV charging and energy conversion systems. You'll drive the architecture of AC/DC and DC/DC converters, oversee end-to-end product development, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cutting-edge charging solutions.
Requirements
- M.S. in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering required; Ph.D. preferred
- 8+ years of hands-on experience bringing power electronics products to market
- Strong expertise in AC/DC and DC/DC converter design and high-power hardware architecture
- Proficiency in embedded firmware development for microcontrollers, DSPs, and FPGA/PLD platforms
- Deep understanding of simulation tools (PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE)
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of high-power AC/DC and DC/DC converters for EV chargers
- Manage a team of power electronics engineers, delegating tasks and fostering collaboration
- Oversee end-to-end product development including simulation, PCB layout, and embedded firmware
- Implement advanced topologies (LLC, phase-shifted full-bridge, PFC) with soft-switching techniques
- Ensure products meet reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance standards
