💼 About This Role

You'll design and build the platform backend services and data pipelines powering Brain Co.'s AI products for governments and enterprises. You'll own the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, creating scalable systems for ML experiment tracking, training, and evaluation. This role offers the chance to work on high-stakes engineering problems alongside experts from Tesla, DeepMind, and Databricks.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services and data pipelines for AI products
• Develop scalable systems for ML experiment tracking and artifact management
• Engineer highly available, fault-tolerant systems with deep observability
• Design modular architectures and clean APIs (REST, gRPC)
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and ML research teams

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building production backend services or platforms
• Deep understanding of consistency, availability, and distributed failure modes
• Experience with Python, Go, Rust, or C++ in AI/Data ecosystem
• Track record of owning services with real uptime expectations

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ML experiment tracking tools (e.g., Weights & Biases, MLflow)
• Experience with data pipelines and workflow orchestration (e.g., Temporal, Kafka, Spark)
• Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP)
