Description

As a Senior Solutions Engineer for the Okta Platform in Japan, you will serve as a key technical and business advisor to customers and partners, collaborating with sales to demonstrate how Okta's solutions solve identity security challenges throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

• Experience in customer-facing roles as a Pre-sales SE or Technical Sales
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships of trust with customer technical staff and leaders
• Native-level Japanese with excellent communication and reading comprehension skills
• Ability to convey questions and opinions in English via email, Slack, or one-on-one conversations
• Experience with Identity Access Management, Single Sign-On, Security, and API-based solutions preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and related departments to ensure customers understand the value of the Okta Platform
• Communicate value of Okta solutions to customers from practitioners to C-level executives
• Serve as primary technical resource handling product features and technical inquiries
• Support customers in executing Proof of Concepts (PoC)
• Present or demonstrate at online/offline events promoting Okta
