💼 About This Role

You'll own mechanical architecture and design for all wearable hardware workstreams at a startup building lifelike voice agents. Your core impact is integrating complex sensing and computing into a compact wearable. You'll collaborate across domains to solve challenging integration problems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect, design, simulate, prototype, and ship mechanical systems in wearables.
• Generate models, drawings, and specs for internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Firmware, ID, and soft goods experts.
• Identify, evaluate, and direct materials and fabrication partners.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant work experience with product design.
• 4+ years of wearable product design experience.
• Experience with complex electromechanical integration in very small form factors.
• Expert with CAD tools and mechanical simulation tools.

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years experience in consumer electronics.
• Experience shipping wearable electronics with significant ID/cosmetic constraints.
