๐ผ About This Role
You'll lead training and mentoring for veterinary nurses in an emergency hospital setting. You'll coach 1:1 on the floor, develop educational content, and drive career advancement through VEG's Cultivate program. You'll split your time between hands-on mentoring and strategic development, making a direct impact on team growth.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Assess assistants and technicians through direct observation and real-time immersion.
- Drive advancement through VEG's Cultivate program.
- Develop training content like presentations, videos, simulations, and assessments.
- Collaborate with nursing managers to broaden impact and mentor culture.
๐ Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of practice.
- High level of knowledge and skill in emergency medicine.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
โจ Nice to Have
- Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program.
- VTS in ECC, internal medicine, or anesthesia/analgesia.
- Previous training experience.
