You'll lead training and mentoring for veterinary nurses in an emergency hospital setting. You'll coach 1:1 on the floor, develop educational content, and drive career advancement through VEG's Cultivate program. You'll split your time between hands-on mentoring and strategic development, making a direct impact on team growth.

  • Assess assistants and technicians through direct observation and real-time immersion.
  • Drive advancement through VEG's Cultivate program.
  • Develop training content like presentations, videos, simulations, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with nursing managers to broaden impact and mentor culture.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of practice.
  • High level of knowledge and skill in emergency medicine.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program.
  • VTS in ECC, internal medicine, or anesthesia/analgesia.
  • Previous training experience.
