Description

You will own the full lifecycle of avionics hardware for the Raptor rocket engine, from design through production and reuse. Your work enables the safest and most reliable access to space.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering
• 1+ years experience designing electronics
• Passion for spaceflight and high reliability electronics
• Experience developing new hardware through verification and validation
• Proficiency with schematic capture, board layout, and lab equipment

Responsibilities

• Design new hardware and redesign existing PCBA to improve reliability and manufacturability
• Provide extreme ownership of avionics hardware across the product life cycle
• Drive changes to electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Perform root cause investigations and derive engineering justifications
• Design test setups and execute hardware validation
