Description
You will oversee the day-to-day HR operations including employee data management, recruitment, and performance management. You'll ensure compliance with employment legislation, advise on policies and benefits, and handle employee relations matters such as conflict resolution and investigations. This role supports business lines to deliver HR needs and coordinates with talent acquisition for hiring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years progressive employee relations experience
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG Pro)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs
- Ensure compliance with Employment Standards Act and provincial/federal legislation
- Serve as primary contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and performance management
- Plan and administer staffing, employee assistance, and equity programs
- Maintain HRIS data and coordinate performance appraisal programs
