Description

You will lead continuous improvement of food safety and quality assurance systems, manage incident investigations and root cause analysis, and drive cross-functional improvement initiatives to enhance product and process performance at a rapidly growing snack manufacturer.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field
  • Strong experience in food safety and quality systems management
  • Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action programs
  • Knowledge of BRC standards and food safety regulations
  • Experience with statistical methods, data analysis, and control charts (CTQs, CTPs)

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis for food safety and quality incidents, including consumer complaints, product holds, and non-conformances
  • Review data from food safety records and quality checks to identify trends and implement corrective actions
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify quality improvement opportunities and ensure CAPA implementation
  • Establish, monitor, and report on food safety and quality KPIs aligned with organizational goals
  • Develop and deliver training on food safety and quality improvement methodologies (root cause analysis, hazard analysis, risk assessment)
