💼 About This Role

You'll craft unified APIs that abstract platform-specific features across consoles and other targets at Unity Technologies. Your work will directly improve cross-platform development for millions of game developers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Craft unified APIs implementing platform features in a testable way.
• Contribute API implementations and unit tests to the Unity codebase.
• Advocate for unifying disparate platform implementations into simple abstractions.
• Refactor existing code for efficiency and maintainability based on user feedback.

📋 Requirements

• Knowledge of native development on at least one platform, preferably console.
• Experience contributing to cross-team projects from initiation to completion.
• Experience in C# and developing Unity-based games.
• Experience working with a small to medium size team.

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of writing native plugins for Unity.
• Experience with API design and asynchronous coding paradigms.
• Experience developing for multiple game consoles or mobile platforms.
