Description

You will design and deliver high-quality, scalable software systems for Cohere Health's core platform, focusing on data and AI platforms. You'll act as a senior technical leader, mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build impactful healthcare technology.

Requirements

• 13+ years software engineering experience, 4+ years in staff/principal/lead role
• Expertise in designing and scaling distributed cloud-native applications
• Strong background in Python, Java, or TypeScript/React
• Experience in healthcare technology or other regulated environments preferred
• Hands-on experience in payment integrity and claims processing

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture of large-scale distributed application systems
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python, TypeScript/React, Java/Kotlin
• Lead development of core features and APIs for providers, payers, and patients
• Mentor engineers on technical design, code quality, and system thinking
• Collaborate with Product, Clinical, and Operations teams to meet real-world healthcare needs
