Description

You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and students to create and implement individualized support plans, provide small group instruction, and lead professional development. Your goal is to ensure all students receive the accommodations they need to succeed.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in special education, psychology, or related field
• Active NJ L.D.T.C credential or master's level therapeutic licensure strongly preferred
• 5+ years of school-based learning support experience with grades 6-12
• Experience interpreting psycho-educational testing and developing accommodation plans
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement official accommodation plans based on neuro-psychoeducational testing
• Coach faculty in strategies for implementing accommodations
• Communicate with parents, students, and faculty about student needs and progress
• Lead professional development for educators on research-based teaching practices
• Oversee testing center and extended time accommodations for grades 6-12
