πΌ About This Role
You'll serve as the first dedicated technical support engineer for Kota's embedded integrations, sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer support. You'll own the operational health of partner integrations, triaging and resolving issues with precision while serving as a fast, knowledgeable point of contact for partners. This isn't a traditional helpdesk roleβyou'll navigate the codebase, query databases, and implement safe fixes where appropriate.
π― What You'll Do
- Triage and resolve partner integration issues end-to-end.
- Investigate data mismatches, integration failures, and edge cases.
- Implement safe fixes or escalate with clear reproduction steps.
- Communicate technical issues clearly to partners and engineers.
π Requirements
- 3β4 years of experience in technical support at B2B SaaS companies.
- Comfortable reading and debugging code in TypeScript/Node.js/.NET/Postgres.
- Strong working knowledge of REST APIs including authentication and debugging.
- Proficient in SQL for data investigation and validation.
β¨ Nice to Have
- Experience supporting payroll, HR, or benefits integrations (e.g. Workday, HiBob).
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure or cloud-native environments.
- Prior startup experience wearing multiple hats.
