Description

As a Project Engineer in Burnsville, MN, you will manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will lead project teams, mentor new members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive successful outcomes. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with at least one day on-site per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering or business-related field
• 10+ years leading projects in engineering, R&D, technology, or product development
• Business acumen; demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional environments
• Experience with project scheduling and reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects according to best practices, on time, within scope and budget
• Lead onboarding and training for new project team members; mentor in risk management, resource planning, and issue resolution
• Report project progress and performance to leadership; ensure consistent use of project status and risk reporting
• Establish and maintain project governance practices; create scheduling, resource planning, and issue tracking tools
• Collaborate with suppliers and partner teams to ensure alignment and resolve issues
