Description

You will design and develop core components of Okta's Continuous Delivery platform and Infrastructure as Code automation using Terraform. You will build scalable microservices and deployment workflows, mentor engineers, and champion best practices to enable efficient infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience in Software Development with backend systems and distributed applications
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Java, Go, Python or similar backend languages building scalable applications
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native development (AWS ECS/EKS preferred)
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical roadmap

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices for Continuous Delivery platform (Spinnaker, Terraform, custom tooling)
• Build Infrastructure as Code automation and APIs for infrastructure provisioning and production changes
• Architect robust CD pipelines and Terraform workflows for reliability and security
• Write clean, tested code in Java, Python, or Go with focus on automation and self-service
• Collaborate with DevOps, SREs, and Product teams to identify bottlenecks and create automation solutions
