Description

You will define and elevate the technical foundation of SoFi's mobile experience, focusing on technical leadership and frontend architecture. Your work spans multiple teams, driving high-impact initiatives that advance Banking products while shaping how mobile clients consume data through a unified GraphQL BFF. You'll deliver high-quality code, mentor engineers, and champion engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years mobile programming experience in Android or iOS.
• Flutter experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Git-based version control and Agile development in microservices environment.
• Strong understanding of modern mobile design patterns and debugging skills.
• Passion for solving complex problems and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize high-throughput GraphQL and REST integrations for Banking experiences.
• Produce well-designed, scalable, reusable mobile architectures across large app areas.
• Identify structural mobile system issues and propose clear remediation paths.
• Serve as lead resolver during high-severity incidents and ensure root cause follow-up.
• Mentor and coach engineers at all levels, strengthening judgment and capabilities.
